First season Sangha 2.0 practice groupleader training completed!

What was formerly called a Sharing Group is now called a Practice Group. In order to lead one of these new groups, people are required to participate in a training as practice group leader, which takes place over three weekends.
At the end of November the last part of the first training series took place in Bad Meinberg. More than 30 participants were certified as practice group leaders.

The challenge for the instructors was considerable. Despite good preparation and a training plan, what could really be achieved - and what wanted to be reached through the group in connection with the goals - was constantly under review.
Susanne Ahlendorf, Vivan Kolbe and Axel Perinchery formed the three-member team. They created a new kind of leadership by placing their trust in a higher power and by inviting the light which acts through each individual. They were able to get to know their own limitations and core-competencies much better and have grown much in the process. Every weekend a little more…

Particularly striking was the willingness of participants to engage so deeply. This could be felt again and again.
What was also so special was that Thomas Hübl could be present on all three weekends for 1.5 hours via Skype. This hadn't been planned – and each time he opened up an even larger space than would have been possible alone.
Inspired in his own vision, he showed participants the real challenges of the Now. Joy was awakened in people’s hearts and we were reminded of what is really important in life.

"We were able to discover that we don't have to be perfect in the leadership of a group. But honest and truthful with the limits of our own skills. For this, we made an exercise which was very challenging for most leaders of the small groups. To us it was important to offer a possibility in the training to come in contact with the trigger points of the participants."
(Susanne Ahlendorf)
This exercise is called: "Tonight is evening practice group!" The instructors chose several group leaders around whom 5-6 participants formed as a group. The group has 1.5 hours to do exercises and simulate an evening together with an observer who gives the group and the group-management some feedback. This was very instructive and challenging for all involved. Mainly because during such an exercise people’s own weaknesses and shadows concerning their own development can easily emerge.
With refresher weekends, telephone conferences, the regional practice groups and a personal sharing partner, the contact within the group will be well maintained.
There will be a chance to deepen the practice and development of skills with Susanne, Vivian and Axel in some deepening-days from 21st to 24th June 2012. And from 25th-28th October 2012 some silent days are planned.
These offers are valid for all practice group leaders as well as for those who have participated in the training and do not conduct a practice group. Also for people who are participants in a local practice group.
