First Weekend of the 2nd Training
"At last, I can officially fire someone," said one participant.
Saturday afternoon - the exercise begins - rain outside the glass walls - silence in the room.
Across the 285 square meter space, 42 participants stand opposite each other in two rows, ready for the next practice exercise, exploring their own space and boundaries.
"It’s not so easy for me to act against habit – I hope I won’t hurt anyone when I send them out of my room“, someone says.
In addition to this exercise, the audience discovered the ‘multi-perspectivity of reality’:
- Their own inner experience as thoughts and feelings and the associated reactions in others
- The common space of relationship as an open or closed system, and its hidden patterns
- The impact on the whole group and the options of stagnation or of development
There was curiosity and inquiry, and a wave of great mindfulness swept across the room. There was huge willingness to explore one’s own limits and new experiences, and to follow insights throughout the weekend.
Sunday afternoon - the final round - in the middle of the circle everyone gets the microphone to speak for two minutes.
The weekend left us with a shared feeling of joy, of the evolution of a strong practice group-network. Previously unimagined possibilities for how to grow a sustainable culture of spiritual education continued to live in us as we made our way home.
